We dropped Charles at the airport again today -he’s off to see his folks for two weeks. All is well with his Mum, it’s just that it’s a long way away and now is a good time for visit before the xmas rush and high prices.

Also, I was at a conference in SF for two days this weekend and he was fine and happy without me but a couple of times he said “mama no.” Which is kinda cool. Then again, he also learned to say ‘beer’ while I was gone…. »

This is Bob. He lives in Mosier. When we ran into him at the Hood River cafe today, he paused for a moment to read Gus a story (Jungle Book). I love that we’re getting to know the community.
