This was actually Charles’ first Father’s Day since we left Australia before it hit there and arrived in Oregon after it hit here last year.
After all that, it was pretty mellow with Charles opting for our usual walk down to the coffee shop with Gus and me. Gus actually slept through most of it, but they had a nice walk on the way back.
Meanwhile I had big plans to put in a few hours of work for my Dad as his present. (Well, my first idea was to take him to breakfast but he liked this second plan better). But instead, we ended up taking a drive to The Dalles to do a few errands and he helped me make signs for Interesting Mosier. Not sure how that happened. But he seemed to know all along that it would. Sigh. I hate it when he’s right.
