Well, we finally did it. We caught the wild mama cat who’s been having all the kittens. Took her to the vet and let them do their birth-control magic.
She did get one last litter in though. Meet the very last batch of orchard kittens:
No names for them yet but they’re smart enough to get out of Gus’ way already.
Which is good because he’s not always gentle and has learned that he can throw things at them when they’re hiding behind the barrier. It’s a race now between us teaching him it’s not ok and him learning to be a good shot.
Are they wild and scratchy? They are cute and fluffy.
No, they’re cuddly & purry. We’re giving them lots of pampering.
