Two bonks, two hours

Gus had a bit of rough day. First he smacked his forehead into the side of one of the wood boxes. Note the red welt between his eyebrows.

Then he fell backwards off of the scales just moments after I took this picture.

Yesterday Gus spontaneously started waving (we didn’t set out to teach it to him)-once at me while Charles was feeding him across the room. And once when they were walking off to the cafe together.

Lighter than we thought

Charles and I have prided ourselves on not using any shampoos or soaps or anything on Gus. Just a bath every night in warm water with a nice wash cloth applied to the various crevices. We basically wanted to avoid chemicals on his brand new soft skin.

Date night despite the snow

We had big plans tonight -which all were canceled due to the snow. But that didn’t stop Charles and I from a grand date night. We suited up and walked the mile into town to the local pub…

There’s been tons of change in the past 30 days. In fact, I almost take it for granted that there is something new each day.
