Christina came down from the cabin today and hung out with us at the Orchard. So we roped her into feeding Gus who has been slowing down in his interest in eating in the last few days. Getting bored of sweet potato? Not sure.

Sun came out long enough to take a wander up in the trees. Much appreciated by Gus who is not used to staying home all day. Missing our coffee meetings and stroller walks in the park, I think.

Gus and the kitten watched each other all day. Both longing to reach out and touch the other which is a dangerous prospect either way (kitten with his claws and Gus with his enthusiastic flailing). They also share a common interest… »
Well, we’re back home again.
Last night, Gus woke up countless times (ok, so it was 7) crying and unhappy. We couldn’t figure out why until suddenly he was all congested and it became clear that cold #2 had descended.
