Unfortunately over here in NY on a packed subway train, people sitting down try to avoid eye contact. If anyone ever does offer a seat (once every ten trips), it’s always an elderly woman.
Amber just told me about a 2 hour train ride in Sydney where no one so much as moved a butt muscle for her. And it was just a week before she delivered. So there you go!
